Storage is temporary. It is only the space for photos and files that have not yet been picked up. Once the recipient has fetched them, or after 72 hours at the latest, they are removed from the server.
The only thing we measure are anonymised totals per ad: impressions, clicks and the click-through rate. We share those with the advertiser, without personal data; we do not track who saw or clicked anything. Ads cannot be dismissed; they are part of the Free plan. Do not want them? Every paid plan is completely ad-free.

The servers are in the Netherlands, within the European Economic Area, with backup and failover servers elsewhere in the EU. SPREQ does not use a US cloud for your data.

On Free profiles there is one calm ad card between the chats. Never full screen, without video, sound or pop-up and never at the top of the chat list.
